I hope they get a good response, people seem to neglect our theatres these days.

Hopefully so, Bambam. The theatre still seems busy when I’ve been - I really enjoy going.

It is a place I have never visited. Walked/drove past many times over the years not really a theatre goer. What is the audience capacity?

The capacity is just over 200, PeterP. It’s a lovely and plush intimate setting.

it,s taken me 70 years to visit, went last week and i must say it was a very enjoyable experience, far beyond my expectations. it's a lovely little theatre, i will be going again soon, and if you have never been, go, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Many years ago my cousin....now in his early fifties...used to help out with the lighting/stage at WLT...he did a few years there and was snapped up by Granada TV ..he worked on that Richard/Judy programme...then progressed to Sky TV Sports covering work wide events...now semi retired TV consultant living Darn Sarf with his family....not bad from starting off at WLT...anybody remember my cousin Craig Williams ?

I don’t know your cousin, Billinge Biker, but I’m sure WLT would be a great start in his career.

I noticed this poster recently, advertising a theatre school open day at The Deanery on Sat 16th Sep. (Details)
